My Approach
Hi, my name is Awaisha, and I am a Certified Cognitive Behavior Therapist. I believe that our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are interconnected and have a significant impact on our overall mental health. As someone who has completed an MPhil with a thesis on cognitive behavior therapy and has published two HEC recognized research papers, I am passionate about providing evidence-based counseling and therapy services.
As a cognitive behavior therapist, I work collaboratively with my clients to identify patterns of negative thoughts and behaviors that may be causing distress. I provide personalized CBT services for depression, anxiety, stress management, mindfulness, anger management, teenage issues, personal counseling, and career counseling. My goal is to support my clients in achieving their goals, improving their overall mental health and living a fulfilling life.
I understand that seeking help for mental health can be overwhelming, and that's why I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients. I also presented a paper on cognitive behavior therapy at US Aid, and I have been providing online counseling and therapy services for several years. By empowering clients to take an active role in their own mental health, I strive to help them achieve lasting change and live a more fulfilling life.
In summary, my approach as a cognitive behavior therapist is grounded in evidence-based practices and focuses on understanding the connections between our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Through personalized CBT services, I aim to help my clients overcome their challenges, improve their mental health, and live a more fulfilling life.
